LEON Virtex Prototype Board
On this page you will find a Virtex XCV300..800 prototype board developed for the LEON Processor.
If you don't know the LEON Sparc processor then visit Gaisler Research website first

Click on the links below to download the PCB files, gerber
plots and documentation. Please note that unless you have
access to a (low cost) PCB making facilities and/or require a
CAN or Spacewire interface I would not recommend making this
board. There are a number of commercial boards which are far
more cost effective to prototype LEON than this board. Also
soldering a PQ240 pins surface mount IC is not easy.
A popular board used in the LEON community is the XSV board
which is manufactured by Xess
corporation. You can find more prototype boards
on the link page
-
Zuken CADSTAR files of the prototype board (204Kbyte) (Corrupted file removed, will try to replace once I searched my backups)
-
Gerber PCB files (136Kbyte) (Replaced 02-March-2003)
-
Prototype board documentation (1.4Mbyte due to schematics and PCB layout images, Replaced 02-March-2003)
The schematics and PCB are designed using Cadstar. You can download a free Cadstar Design Viewer from Zuken's website.
